As a salesperson for Mr. Manhole you may have a customer that says, I just want the standard speed plate. I don't want anything else. And that's fine. But when your customer has the road shut down, he's got traffic control in place. He's pulled the permits. It's Monday morning at 8:00. He's got 20 guys on the job, and he pulls a manhole lid off and all of a sudden he's got a smooth wall frame and he has no smooth wall speed plate.

He’s going to be in trouble. Or if he encounters a manhole that's 46in in diameter and he doesn't have the XL speed plate, as long as he knows all of this and he's okay with it, we're fine. But it would be better if he had all three of the speed plates on the job site, even if he rents them.
