Is there an advantage to having the Platinum instead of the Gold series or B-52 cutter?

The Platinum cutter is heavier resulting in faster cutting. The Platinum cutter cuts larger diameter cuts in it's stock configuration. The Platinum cutter cuts 16" deep in it's stock configuration and 22" deep with extended blades. The Platinum cutter includes the Easy-Drive top for longer motor life.
