How does the Cookie lifter release the cookie?

The Cookie lifter can grasp and release a cookie via the lift adapter that attaches to the hydraulic drive motor that ships with the cutter. The lift adapter enables the grasp/release function by turning hydraulically from one position to the other without anyone having to physically hook anything up to the cookie.
