I'm bidding a large manhole frame adjustment project that specifies the Mr. Manhole method. What should I look for when doing a preliminary inspection of the job site?

You should open every manhole and determine what Speedplate you will need to cut and remove the frame. Measure from the road surface to the cone so you can determine how much liner is required. Measure the frame to see what size liner is required, Check the general location of the manholes to determine traffic control requirements, Determine what diameter you will be cutting and using a masonry bit drill a hole at that distance from the center of the manhole lid to determine what the road is constructed of. Will the existing frame and lid be reused or will new frames be used? Who supplies the new frames and lids? Remember the Mr. Manhole calculator is very convenient for determining materials required for a project.
